Water Treatment Plant
JRCC provided engineering services for the Black River First Nation water treatment plant upgrade and expansion, which will treat a raw water that has high DOC levels with very little alkalinity. The water treatment process includes fully automated ultra and chlorine resistant colour removal nanofiltration with chlorine disinfection. The project also included a new SCADA system, raw water intake, and a building and reservoir expansion. Design and construction works were completed while maintaining water treatment and water distribution to the community.
